Brand Development

This project brief was to create a name and identity for a new flatware buisness located in Canada.

Solution

We created several brand names and the one that stood out for us and the client was Ornative. The name was based on the word ornate – describing something decorative and well designed. The native part of the name also modernises the brand and hints at the primeval, native act of eating.

Results

After developing the name we carried out work on the brand identity exploring options for a wordmark logo and a brand mark symbol.

This project also invovled work on the compnay’s written communication with tone of voice development and the creation of website copy and direct mail letters for the North American market.
